Title: QVMX Biddadaba AGM/Practice weekend 28th and 29th Sept, Biddadaba
Post by: Robo 47 on August 30, 2013, 03:11:24 pm
IMPORTANT NOTICE - NEW DATE FOR THE QVMX AGM

We would like to inform you that the AGM practice weekend for QVMX is now on the September 28/29 weekend. This has been rescheduled due to MQ running the Classic Nationals on the November 2/3 weekend at QMP.

Cost for practice is $30 day for seniors and $10 day for juniors.
Licence required - Annual recreation or competition,  or purchase one for the weekend - $25

•Senior Men - Vintage Motocross and Vinduro
•Women - Modern or Vintage
•Kids - Modern or Vintage

Helen will be available both days with the food van.

This will be a fantastic weekend to end off the year. We will have a great feed on the Saturday night with soft drinks, KFC, pizza, salad and cheesecakes for all to enjoy.

AGM will kick off around 4.30 Saturday followed by Championship Series Trophy Presentation, dinner and socialising with your mates.

Please come along and have your input at the AGM. This is your club and your time to speak up and contribute any ideas or suggestions.

Send your agenda items to the [email protected] by 18th September.

2014 is going to be a huge year for QVMX - with the Conondale Classic getting bigger again, and the Post Classic Nationals. Its a great time to join the committee and be a part of it all.

If you would like to be on the 2014 committee but cannot make the AGM, please email [email protected] with the role or tasks you are interested in.

We will also need a team of volunteers to help with events like the Post Classic Nats and Conondale Classic. So put your hands up and let us know what you are interested in. We look forward to working with some new faces in 2014.

From The 2013 QVMX Committee

It was very hard to come up with a date to suit everyone at this late stage and with so much happening over the next couple of months, also a couple of competing events impacting the members/committee on Oct 5/6.
28/29 September was selected as the best option.

Do you need to be a club member to practice? Or just the day licence?

28/29 September was selected as the best option.

It is easy to work out why events are being cancelled (or changed to another State). The original date for the practice/AGM was Nov 2/3 (date of Classic MX Champs) and then it was changed to the date of the ill fated CD10. The VMX community need to take a good look at themselves and not put anything on against the major National events.

Also stop pointing the finger at people when circumstances force the decision to cancel to be made. I sure no one makes a decision like that unless it is necessary.

Lets all be positive and stop the negative bullshit.

Kevin

Did you know there is a reason tracks are seven metres wide. You don't have to keep hitting the same bumps.

Don't follow me in practice at the Classic Nats, I don't want anyone finding my secret lines.

Good work fellas! Does this mean that the circuit is now permanent? Or is the irrigation system mobile?

And with the irrigation installed there wont be any dust problems. 8)
