Show me a skyhook down or another type please?
Do you know anyone that has restored a motorcycle in space? or perhaps underwater? or for the deep thinking wombats, on a parallel universe maybe...*
* brains addled by grog or other more or less dubious narcotics whilst attempting constructive assembly or repairs in you or ya mates sheds, kitchens, bedrooms, family rooms, shitter or jacuzzi not included OK....

spraying thinners in a confined space ?

Yep, Just over seeing "ground up resto" plastered on so many adds. People should try to be slighty different, like, "Passionate restoration of the classic 1963.5 model Horwood Bagshaw three row crop stabliser plough, sourcing and fitting many n.o.s and rare aftermarket items from the appropriate paddock racing era"
"Ground up restoration" is getting to be the new "like" or 'absolutely' etc etc ;)
Thanks for your concern Paul :)
or maybe it's the confined thinners in a spraying space thingo..... :D

Does" ground up restoration "rate above or below " race ready" ?
-
ground up resto .... rough, soiled and dirty (you may have noticed that about the ground..... :o)
race ready .... rooted.
-
in my books below race ready

Does" ground up restoration "rate above or below " race ready" ?
So true about the race ready bit=totally rooted.
Bought my Yamaha YZ250g off a forum member about 2 year ago totally unseen but he
was adamant that is was ready to race.
Hahaha stuffed the crank in the first race.. :'(
Not only that but she was totally run down.

It's a shit when that happens. I tipped a mate off to a bike that was being sold on here by another well known forum member. My mate didn't know what he was looking at but bought it, partially at least because i'd said the seller was well known in the vmx scene. To put it mildly the bike wasn't anything like what it was said to be.
It's unfortunate that there are arseholes in vmx given that there are so many good guys out there who go out of their way to do the right thing.

proper race ready is 1 step above restoration as its has been tuned and all the bugs are iorned out.bullshit race ready is stuffed.without pulling all apart how would you know it has a new crank piston ect.

Years ago a mate of mine bought a W1 kawasaki. He literaly had to dig the parts out of the ground as the seller had left it rotting in the back yard.
That's the only 'Ground up' restoration I know about.
