Title: WANTED- 250 MXer btween '80 & '90 under $1K

Just looking for a friend of mine, he would like to get into the VMX scene, he'd like to try and find a Jap 250 between 1980 & 1990, he can only go up to $1000 ...... anyone?

Ol Mate has a couple of nice PE's for sale. he might let one go for a K. I will flick him an email and see if he is interested. its his parts bike for the good one but its not in bad condition. the only think he pinched off it was the original muffler. not a real necessary item as you would want to  upgrade that for sure for VMX.

let me know if this is in the equation

I'll ask, pretty sure he wants a motocrosser, he's a young kid that wants to whoop other young guys riding new bikes.  LOL

For 1 gorilla I'm not sure he's gonna get an "ass whooping" machine!! ;D but if he can, and he does, ill be the first one to pat him on the back ;)

he is better of spending more $ now rather than spending many more $ later.

$ 1k buy in water cooled, linkage, powervalve era is expensive to rebuild.

Does he want a whole bike or just a part of it?.....Nathan might be able to sell him a Sexmax soon/
