My 1988 Honda CR250 goes up for auction Sunday (U.S. time). If you have ever wanted one of these red beauties (this is a great example and comes with some rare NOS stuff) please take a look on the Evil auction site.

The all red '88 CR Honda range look the best of them all in my humble opinion.....that's indeed a nice bike Jay. How's the health going mate?

I agree Firko, that model before the USD had a non bulky sleek look about it...

OYZM,
I'll post the link tomorrow after the auction starts. Check out the NOS parts (probably should have put them in a separate auction, but I want it all to go.)
Firko,
The health outlook is turning a corner. All numbers look great and I've lost 35lbs so far (How much would that cost in Titanium bolt addition?), so just from that I should be faster. LOL I was a little down when they had to stop my treadmill stress test before I even got going (BP jumped up). A week later I passed a Lexi-Scan stress test (What a wild ride that drug was!). I just have to get off the blood thinner (10 months to go) and then I'll be back at it! I have 3 or 4 projects to complete in that time, then all my bikes will be race ready.
;D

I don't like the blue seat and the graphics on the '87.
I'm glad things are looking up Jay. I was the same...last year I thought I was gonna die, this year I feel 50 years old again ;D

Pfft Brett .. I've got an 89 and I love it. Pulls harder than a 14 year old and compared to my earlier bikes, is like riding a magic carpet.

Hey Simmo,
I have to buy a pre 90 250 soon, and i would not kick either an 88 or 89 out of bed for...... the 88 does look a bit more classic to me though.

I like the 88 and 89's, but I identify with the 82-87 factory Honda blue seaters. That was Honda's decade and all was right until the day the music died (January 11, 1987 Huron, CA)

Hey Brett
Are you stuck on a Honda? Or would you consider an other brands?

Yes Honda was on the ball in those years and produced a good package.
I was devastated at the news of Bailey, I had seen him ride and he was so fluent on a bike I thought he could do no wrong, I guess he thought so too.

Simmo, I am all ears for a Japanese 250 88 or so?
