Title: 1976 RM 125A - DG Swing Arm..is it Pre 78 legal ??

Calling all scrutineering experts... :P

Picked up this lovely little RM125A today so my 370A now has a little sister... ;D
Has DG head and swing arm and Preston Petty guards.

The question is???  is the DG Swing Arm period for pre-78?.

The guy I bought it off got it in 1979 from his mate who bought it new and when he got it in 1979 the DG arm was on it.

Bike has never been raced just ridden a few times a year in the back yard.
Now all I've got to do is find the brother (250A)

Yes it is legal, they were available in '76. And it's a Thor arm not a DG.

If that was in my state it'd have been in my shed! Twas a bargain indeed, enjoy! :D

I think it was in your state mate .... but is now moving to Qld .. where all the good VMX racing is to be had  ;)
