I'd keep an eye on it - be very surprised if it gets to $4k!

Me too dude! Says "that 4 times" not "4 times that". My tip is $1800-$2200

What's a KX460? It looks to be a '76 KX400 to me.

Whilst its a restorer, its a pity that it missing the rear shocks and a few other un-obtainium parts. It will fetch good money $2k or thereabouts but the unfortunately it will cost more to restore than a good one can be bought outright for, such is the demand for these early Kawi's.

Yes Dave,
I had a pristine perfect 76 that i sold for $5k also. Struggled to get that and i doubt that I would get $5k these days for it.
This one is pretty rough, if you want a perfect one and $ are an issue- then buy one thats already restored, on the other hand if you are looking for a barn fresh look then this would probably be a good thing. still think $1500 tops

I never did get to ride mine, i am not sure what they be like, I would say they would be a better ride than a TM400.

Definitely Dave but the TM 400 is really a pre 75 bike ( I know the M model is pre 78 ) but the KX is a way better bike . The KX falls a long way short of the RM 370 though .

Be a good buy for $1500/$1800

Shocks look like originals to me  :-\
