Title: 73 CCM clutch cover photo
Post by: grouty on August 03, 2013, 03:39:14 am
Has anyone got a close up picture of the "non-generator" clutch cover from a 73 CCM. I only have the generator type. It would be good if it showed the CCM lettering and it's position.

Thanks Alison. That one does look like the generator type though. I will check the others on my FB page.

Many thanks Mark. The Clews cover in your picture is the correct shape, but I need the CCM lettering to be able to see the positioning and font etc.

Dave, I would be grateful for more pics. Thanks.

Hows this one then Grouty? I think it's the generator cover but it may give you an idea of the logo placement and font.

Not heard of them Alison. I will ask Mark next time I speak to him.

Nice picture Mark. I have that cover on the bike now. Just that the other one needs the shallow cover, but I need to check if the lettering and position is the same as the generator type. Not that I'm being anal or anything with the build of the new one  :-\

No drama
The cover in the photo is the original-
There is still signs of the bog from when we used it as a patern to build it up to allow for shrinkage.
My frame is C7397 SOLD 8/09/73-wow 40 years old next month.
Chasing some engine covers for a 79 if you ever come across them.

Cheers Dave
