Title: 1976 RM 370 A front axle

I am after a front wheel axle to suit a 1976 RM 370 Suzuki. Thanks.

Let's have some dimensions, I have a few "axles" laying around but unless I have some basic dimensions I couldn't say I have one or not!

Hey Nipper,

76 RM 370 part # 54711-40001     

77 RM 125 and 370 part # 64711-43000

I have a couple of the 77 front axles. I will send them to you for you to try.

However, if your bike finishes in front of mine in Canberra I will protest the fact that I gave you some parts to complete your bike and we will have to share the trophy....ha ha

Not much chance of finishing in front of you Ted, I am the guy that makes everyone look fast. But I will share the spoils of victory with you if its a beer or two.

The 77 B model axle is longer as it goes through the fork leg and has a nut on it, the 76 axle screws into the threaded lower fork leg.
You can use the 77 axle by drilling out the lower fork leg and using an axle nut or you can find a 76 axle on ebay in the US.

Right again Davey, there are plenty on e bay was looking today though I would try the forum first. I can use the 1977 axle as I have a set of lower fork legs with the hole drilled out to accept this type of axle.
