Title: Two TMs for $800?
Post by: Wombat on May 20, 2008, 06:02:18 pm
I just spoke with one of our Contractors who told me of a bargain he's stumbled upon:

He sees a bloke racing dirt track on a TM 250 last weekend.
Bike breaks down and my bloke asks what's up.

The bloke with the TM says "electrical problem" - he's thinking of selling it for $500; is my bloke interested?
"Yes" is the reply.
He then adds he has a TM 400 at home, it's in reasonable nick/not too much wrong; he'll put both together plus a shit load of spares for $800 the lot.
"Still interested?"

Not surprisingly the answer remains "Yes" :o.
I ask you, is that a SCORE or what?! :P

Now friends have you ever ridden a Cyclone!!!!!! It is a umm....different experience....  ::) Please do not confuse your knowledge of the fun TM100 or very satisfying 125 and 250 , with the Terrifying Monster 400 ;)
Ok some tips on Cyclone riding
1 Do not ever start and attempt to ride in a backyard or carpark or minor/major airport.
2 The hand position on the twist grip may, but mostly may not, be relevant to the amount and speed of forward motion.
3 You have a brain as you just love to collect VMXers!, TM400s have one too, it is just warped.
4 TM 400s handle well , have fine brakes , good suspension with little seizing problems and spot on electrics , and are very forgiving and docile mounts. Some of the previous statement is bullshit. You chose which. :D
I owned one.........buy it!!!........Tim754

Brad you will always find one cheaper, better, faster than you have.

BE content you have one, down the track an oppertunity will come your way, you just need to recognise it and then have a use for it.

In the meantime enjoy what you have, remeber it could be worst and you could have paid more, so one else always has.
