Just reporting that after nearly 10 years my 1974 KX250 is due for launch at CD. Its been a long road and its been the one project that always seemed to get pushed back while everyone else in the house was spending the fun tickets.
Just a rear wheel to go and a new float for the carby which is proving a significant problem!
Its no show pony but will still look the goods; cant say Im a fan of the showroom re-creation that never gets a ride - this one is there to be used.
Bike was bought from New York on Ebay in the early days of Ebay - how cheap was it then and how dear is everything these days - including postage.

thats the one Mark, looks like new now; found the carby float today, waiting on the rear wheel, chain, and not much else. As I said no glamor garage queen resto, but not bad all the same.
Email is the [email protected] same as ever. Ditch the [email protected] - I quit that gig!
