Now that I have changed my Wasp to Suzuki power.....and loving the extra go without the weight, I miss having a kick starter and need a starter clutch/bendix/drive for the GR650
Please check your piles of spares/junk/shelves etc... as they are NLA from Suzuki, only 2nd hand from US.
Apparently they still use them in Brazil in the police force but I don't speak or read Spanish and have found nothing on google about them.
Any help appreciated.

Clutch part no. 31370-15510

EML the Australian Army used GR650's around 1983/92 era. There used to be some on display at Bandiana Military Museum. Try any wreckers in the Albury NSW area. Tim754

Yam 270 , can you coming to the track this weekend ?
Yep I'll be at the track this weekend, think I will head there tomorrow afternoon to secure a good campin spot.
Which track are you talking about?
-
There is a site called ronniesmailorder and they list all makes/models/years It has a shot of it from the Suzuki parts catalouge just go Suzuki/GR650/1983/starter parts.
Not cheap over that side that's for sure Wally
Thanks Tim, will give it a crack in Albury.

Sounds good, that's a different race track to the one I was thinking. I'm at Straßbessenbach this weekend for R8 of the world champ series.

There seems to be a few about that are second hand but they were a std problem so second hand might be as bad as the one I have. Ans I don't need to freight one 1/2 way across the world only to be in the same boat. Might have to chuck the GR in the bin and start again.
Or just park it up and forget about it. Might become one of those guys with ''a Wasp hidden in his shed going to waste'' ;)
With what MA/MQ have done to Conondale we all may do that.

XS is 15kgs heavier and way less hp The GR has heaps of fruit std. Already 270 with dual mass flywheel, electronic ign etc..etc...v
While you're there can you shoot over to Groggs shop and find some pics of his '75 Norton Wasp. I'm looking to make a replica to kick pre75 arse (Bongey) :D :D :D
-
Yes his frame is a'78 but the book says frames are free ??? ??? Mine is a '76 but was built for a Norton and would be very much like Herr Groggs championship model, so its do-able but I would like some close pics with detail.
I will talk to Matt to see if he is going that way though they don't speak each others language :D

What a great weekend!
Some very close racing at the pointy end, Bax/Stupelis gave them a run for their money, but Adriaenssen/VanDenBogart managed to pull it off, not without a fight!
Just amazing how they can keep it up at that pace for so long, I was buggered after 3 laps the other week, and hardly got out of second gear!
I'm out of main land Europe in a few days, wont be back until september some time unless i decide to go to the Swiss GP. i'm heading over to the UK to catch a round of IMBA, then Frome the following weekend.

If you are going to a trolley race , check out the leaders set new up ;)

Just some clear pics would be good but all I've seen from back in the day are shockers.
I thought he might have some in his memoribillia or posted on his shop wall ;D

Looks like your having fun over there Matt??
Some one told me you bought a new Toy...
-
I was thinking maybe the pic takers for MCN in UK might be able to help.

270 are you going to the GP in Roggenburg ?
I would like to but at this stage looks like we will have to stay in the UK for a month so we don't exceed our limit in Europe. Are you going?
