Title: Ohlins shock to suit 89 onwards KX500 or 89 KX250

I have an Ohlins shock to suit the 1989 onwards Kx500, it will also suit the 1989 KX250 and maybe some other KX250 years - i am not sure. Shcok was working well when taken off bike but I would advise a re-oil and regas to freshen it up. Condition is good and it does not appear to have any leaks  $450 plus postage or can be collected in Brisbane.  PM me for photos.

Any chance it fits an 86 kx500?  Don't let it get out, but I have a bit of green in my shed now!

'88 KX has an eyelet on the bottom, rather than the fork/clevis of the 89+ bikes. If you swap to an '89+ KX500 linkage (or '89 KX125/250 linkage), then this shock will fit into an 88 KX.

The same is true for the '87 models. Not sure about the '86 KX125s - specifically, I don't know whether the later linkage fits, and whether there's issues with the remote reservoir.

Definitely won't fit into an 86 250/500.
