Title: MX250A Fork Springs
Post by: PCMAX on July 09, 2013, 06:09:21 pm
I gave my forks a bit of a cleanup and fresh oil yesterday, when I went to put the springs back in I noticed that they are tightly wound at one end and the coils are more normally spaced at the other end.
Can anyone advise which way they go in do the closely spaced coils go at the bottom or the top? What difference does it make anyway?

Makes no difference. Tight at top is the " right " way by the manual.  Info sourced from the guy who's flyers I gave you on Saturday.

Thanks Ted, and to your mates at Technik Suspension. I knew someone would know. Looks like I will have to reinstall them the right way up then.

Cheers
Peter
