If you're going to ask that much money you'd think they'd fix the engine

I'm a bit wary of the claimed 72 hp. It's got all of the correct stuff but that seems an awful lot of neddies. ::)  Great bike though, I'd own it in a heartbeat if I wasn't so poor.

72 bhp @ 6500rpm  is what he has quoted from an article ( read his disclaimer ).
Have you read the article on how the motor ( 474) was built by Gordon Edwards  very interesting.

I doubt that Gordon Edwards built the engine, I met him at the Sandhill Ranch AHRMA Dick Mann meeting in 1994 and a few days later met up with him over a number of beers at a bar called Liverpool Lil's in San Francisco. Besides being the USA Cheney distributor at the time he made his main living as a fashion photographer and it came across to me that as witty and charming as Gordon was, he didn't possess much mechanical ability. He told me who built the engine but I've forgotten....although it could have been 'Little' John Hately.  I recall him telling me that he was getting the royal runaround from Eric Cheney with regards to delivery, saying that he could have sold four times as many frame kits if Eric could keep up supply to demand. Gordon gave me photo proofs he'd taken of the bike and they were used on the poster for the Tanunda Nats in '95.
