The position of the brackets and the size of the plastic lip that runs between them is the same as mine, so I'm voting for E/F model.
I've got another seat base which is has different brackets (they're further back) and came on a 125 parts bike. These brackets don't line up with the mounting points on either the bike I'm fixing up or the parts bike. I'll try and post a pic of the two together so you can compare.

After speaking with DJ and having a closer look one of them is scalloped more than the other at the front.
He say the bases are the same virtually. He also says the folks selling them want too much. i'll see what I can up with here and then think more. I might wait until I can find one that I know is right.

Let me know if you want some pics of the two I've got for comparison purposes.

Thanks mate - sorry to stuff you around.

Thanks Quicky, anything at all considered, although I am right for a 250H seat.
For 250H looking for a good airbox, kick starter, shock reservior bracket, airbox brackets. Most importantly that opaque mudguard that goes over the airbox if in good condition. Those bloody things are like hens teeth.
After a 125H seat too - that's what started up this dodgy thread. DVD and CD posted tomorrow mate.

Don't know if this will help or not. The covered seat is the one off my bike, the other came off the parts bike but was just sitting loose when I got it.
To be honest I don't know what it's from but someone might be able to tell us. The differences as far as I can tell are the position of the brackets (further back), the airbox lip is much bigger, and the seat base itself is very slightly shorter.

I reckon you are bang on mate - I'd say your E/F prediction is on the money.
Not sure what the other one is - IT ?? DJ tells me the G/H seat is about 25 - 30 thick at the very back. Looks like your second one is 40 going by the writing on it.
Looks like you have solved my mystery Mainline - legendary effort - thanks 8)

The old seat isnt for a 125, its either IT or YZ 250/400/465 with the shape of the base.
The D-E-F seat foam for the 125 is taller than the G-H, but the base is the same.
