Depends on where you are!, YZ465H tanks were identical to 250H tanks ...In the US, here the 465H tank was bigger because we got the Euro version and in euprope the moto's for the 500cc class had moved to 40 mins where in the US they were 25 mins....

Guys, don't mean to be rude but you are going off track here.  This thread is about the Ebay item  (DT)

It's no problem BJJ.  I started off this disaster by wrongly identifying the YZ.
The thread is pretty much broken anyway.  Maybe I should rename it ??

Andrew ...What are you apologising for.
YZ250H puts up a topic, gets an answer then mentions 81 models. You ask an 81 model question and also get an answer. No problem 2 guys happy
Then someone with absolutely no input in this topic says out of order. Are we expected to start a new topic for everything?
Andrew ...if you need tank stickers contact Dan at Motographix...he advertises in VMX mag.

Yes Andrew,

Some blokes get cranky when you hijack their threads, but not me mate ;).  Butt in any time.  For me it's a forum - that's where people talk about stuff and sometimes even a bit of bullshit (or stupid questions from me)sneaks in.   It's all good 8)   That's what my last post was supposed to put across - hope it didn't do the opposite :o.  I've been known to post a thread that got over 1800 views and 101 posts on a 125H that won't run :o :o.  Not too much of it was actually technical - probably a good indication that I'm not too worried ::).

Let's take it in another direction now ;D  Ted, I've heard mixed stories about motographix.  Yours look good - obviously you are happy with them.  They didn't look like they were perferated - were they ??  The other mob I've heard of is from the UK.

Keeping the tangent thing going in an ever increasing spiral, I got my tank graphics from Carl of PDS Slacks Creek ( Performance Decals n Signs ) and they're pretty damn good. I payed $60 for the tank stickers and the 125 stickers for the side panel.

YZ250H....Perforated...Pffft    Perfect...Definite

One thing i won`t do is wrap a shit product...you`ve seen what i think of XYZ stuff

Motographix stuff is top notch  Dan has been around, he knows his stuff  Check out the White Bros sticker on the boost bottle. The original was rooted. He color matched it.and sized it on the spot and then made it. Not bad when that sticker was nearly 30yrs old.

Try getting stuff reproduced ( scanned and made ) from the UK
Dont know PDS but mainline rates them so worth a try also   Buy OZ if we can

Ted, How long have you had the stickers on the tank and what preparation to the tank did you do?

I haven't got them on the tank yet as I want to seal it first. I have held them up next to the tank and the sizing is definately right. They basically look exactly like this.

DJ... It was a new tank( no petrol ), just a quick wipe with spray and wipe, 2 drops of dishwashing liquid in about 200ml spray bottle and just put them on.

Stickers on approx 6 weeks
