Title: XR250 Project
Post by: Kenneth S (222) on July 04, 2013, 07:55:08 pm
Hi Guys,

Looking for an XR250 project to build up as a basic trail bike to ride when trail riding with my son. Doesn't need to be flash. Cheap and Nasty is OK. Cheap is preferred. Anything lying in the shed you might part with?

Cheers,

Ken

Be honest with us Ken,
Your gunna race it in the new fourstroke class and give Bruce and Aynton
a hurry up.  ;D

Ken, this may be too big of a project but maybe handy for spares. I could pick it up for you if you bought it and maybe bring it to CD10. Just a thought.

I've got one Ken. Mostly complete.  Where are you located again as I might be able to drop it off.

Cheers

Thanks Stan, Yes I have that one on the watch list. Was hoping for it to be a little more complete but the price is right. Thanks for the offer to bring it up. Very generous of you.

Cheers,

Ken

Andrew, I hadn't thought of it but since you mention it they do seem to be having a good time in that class.

Dennis, I am a Motocross die hard, no Vinduro for me. I'm on an endless pursuit of the perfect lap, the perfect race and like to be leaning on the guys I'm racing through the corners. ;D

If you lean on someone is to rely on them for support, physical or moral. Informally, it can also mean "to exert pressure," especially if you're a mobster.

Hello Kenneth, so you are saying that you need support to get through the corners??? Or you collecting funds owed by somebody by leaning on them.

Cheers

See you all tomorrow. Bring the sunglasses as the bikes will be highly polished for Sir Ted' s show and shine
