I wish I was cashed up. That would be cool on my old DT1. Jimson

Pretty sure that's the activator that everyone was drooling over from the first johnny old vmx pics

I'm a bit of a junkie for this stuff. Even though I recently purchased two of Davey Crockets superb YZ sprocket covers/clutch actuators, I just couldn't help myself and bought one of these as well to try out on one of my other DT1 monstrosities.
Even though it's plug ugly compared to Joan's beauties, it'll be interesting to compare clutch actuation between the two types. I'm on a mission to improve the clutch on every early Yamaha, one engine at a time ;D

I was thinking of making a similar thing recently, my father has had the same style on his road race bikes for years , doesn't look to complicated and you get a case saver as well need to incorporate a sprocket cover though

need to incorporate a sprocket cover though
That's the big disadvantage over Davy Crockets 'Crocker Covers' shown below which feature full sprocket coverage to keep scrutineers happy.

rubber foot pegs
It's a dirt tracker, you don't have your feet on the pegs very often, especially the left one as shown. Note that it's a DT1 rubber ;)
They all have rubber pegs as shown on SONS newly imported T500 Starracer below.
