Try Sean at SOS suspension, Penrith. He does alot of work for Sydney based VMX guys, does Ballards Maico's the list goes on. He is also able to do early Yammy monoshocks which the others don't do. Give him a call great guy.

They are easy. We do them all the time & generally have the parts in stock.

My Husky CR 125 1981 Ohlins were re built and re valved by Sean from SOS Penrith Sydney.

Sean has also done work for Dean Burt and Sean Hardman - both fast and fussy.

Not like me.

Sean
Did my YZ Mono shock and forks.

Shock is great but my forks bottom hard I think I should have used 250 forks like what was recommended on this forum.

Learnt that the hard way :)

Increase the oil volume in the forks and ad a few pounds of air or go to harder springs... Simple

What spring rate is in the fork Paul

Not sure

I have got to call Sean

Spring rate seems ok I reckon they need more oil.

In theory the last 30% of travel the spring is not relavent only oil/pressure.
At least that's how it is on a modern??

Not sure on the old one???? But I assume it works the same???

It has emulators fitted as well??

Yamaha dealers don't have any Ohlins servicing equipment or parts in stock, they run as 2 totally separate companies.

I have a funny feeling Yamaha sold Ohlins back to the original guy a few years ago.
