I have 12:51 std ratio and I find sometimes I'm back to 1st gear and just wondering if anyone has tried the above ratios?
Either way I need to buy a sprocket a 11 front or 53 rear.
Also is 11 too close to the bearing housing/case bit?
Just wondering if anyone has tried it ?

Off the top of my head, i cant remember whats on the back
but the fronts definately an 11 tooth on my YZ125f ( same gearbox as "D")
No clearance issues for the chain.
2nd gear starts perfect with good short course top end.

That's great thats what I need!
I will try it with the 49 rear.
Thanks heaps

11 is mighty small and will cause the chain to bend a tighter radius and wear faster than larger sprocket sizes. Larger rear sprocket is typically recommended but costs more. Perhaps not so much an issue on a 125 than an open bike?
