Looks great Slakey but at a guess, and this is only a guess based on the picture, you would have to lower it to 9 inches to race in our pre 78.  Not hard to do but if it actually needs doing  :)

Sadly yes you will need to butcher the suspension from standard to race with in the rules at the Nats. I have had to do this with my Husky so it is Nats compliant.
