Some of you will know it or know of it. Basically it is an Australian equivilent of ON ANY SUNDAY.
NATURALLY FREE was shot in Australia in the mid seventies.
Briefly some of the names and locations featured are as follows and in no particular order.
Dave Pinkerton, Mid seventies Aust v GB Dirt Track Test at Nepean (Julian Wigg) Craig Brown, Speedway from Sydney Showground ( Langfield Crump Sanders Titman) lots of early 70's MXR's, 74 Nepean 6 Hour race ( Airey, Scaysbrook, Hunter, Burdis) Warren Willing riding Moto Cross at Amaroo
Park, Aust v GB Dirt Track Test at Amaroo Park, Bathurst footage inc Yamaha TZ750 first outing (Grant
Hansford Toombes Hennen etc) Malcom Smith, Amaroo Park Six Hour featuring the great Jack Ahearn Gary Thomas,Hansford, Willing, Kenny Blake, Bryan Hindle BMW mounted. Euro Trials Champ on Yamaha TY250 Mick Andrews, Kenny Roberts etc etc etc. plus lots of other corny vision. Narration by John Laws.
OK here's the rub. I have managed to locate a VHS copy of the above that I have had proffessionally
dubbed onto DVD. To be brutally honest the reproduction quality varies from average to good.
What I am proposing is that if you would like a DVD of the above is that you post me a cheque or money order to the value of fifteen dollars and I will mail you same. Ten dollars from the sale of each to go to the creator of this fine web site. I will not send any to anyone until I have orders for at least twenty.
You want it or you dont but lets keep it simple.

Hi Colmmody,
I am up for it, just a query if you get say 10 guys send you the bucks IE les than your 20 what happens ?
Just a suggestion I haven't come accross anyone on this forum who does not follow through on a commitment, why not just take names if they say they want it you will get the bucks.

Shame Shame Shame! All you wild dirtbike rebels blatantly disregarding copyright laws! ;)
I scored a copy and the original movie poster a few years back :D I remember how remembered it, how I'd wanted to watch it again, how I watched it and then how I proceeded to give it away. I kept the poster! I can't remember who I gave the movie to but it was a forum member ;)

Cobblers. I bet that's you at the start, riding away from the camera on the Honda monkey bike... ;)

I went to the premier at the Footbridge Theatre Camperdown in 75 and only just finished watching it for the second time.
There is some awesome Aussie Motocycling history in there but as a Speedway nut the biggy for me was seeing Crumpy Snr introduce the Streety 4 Valver to the rest of the world at the Syd Showground, what followed after that was an amazing scramble of 4 Valve converstions to fit the ever reliable 2 Valve Jawa engine, until Weslake took control in 76/77.
Other points that caught my eye were Langy argueing with officials, very rare occurance ;) and now he is one.
The dulcet tones of Lawsie the legend.
Loved it, might watch it again now.
Oh yeah, even Bucket had a cameo.

I'll take one . Just tell us where to put/send money. Curly

I may as well join in and flaunt copyright laws . Iain
