Title: 88 KX125
Post by: Rookie#1 on June 13, 2013, 09:13:27 pm
What lies here in this pile of green is a complete 1988 KX125!! :D Even a manual here to show you where all these parts might go! ::) It has a dubiously stiff crank that ive not bothered to budge with anything more than my hand, cylinder looks to be in nice shape. Seat cover not ripped, forks ok. Everything here can be yours for the princely sum of $350, i would much prefer to not store it for a further month or more but if you're unable to pick up right away we may be able to work out something. Pick up Bacchus Marsh, Vic. Cheers, Brendan 0439 109 254

A bargain?? Maybe in comparison to what it could be parted out for if I could be bothered spending the time doing so....but as for buying a pile of parts that may one day resemble a mx bike, I reckon $350's about what it's worth. Prob worth it's weight in gold to anyone currently racing one .for spares though.

I have a soft spot (read sick spot) for Kawasaki basket cases. I’m currently trying to corner the market on them all. :o
I found myself eyeing this off to park next to all my other dismantled Kawasaki’s  but I have other issues to deal with at the moment. Should really be thinking about selling something.
I still have fond memories of my 87 KX 125 that I bought New

That's in pretty much the same condition as my 84 KX250, although I just pulled mine apart to give it a good clean and replace a few bearings etc  ::)
