A mate of mine did the deal to purchase the bike for $4,000.00 on the 14 / 5 / 2008.

Arranged a truck to pick it up today at 4.30 pm

The guy rings back 15 / 5 / 2008  after agreeing to the deal the day before and wants more money.

Very poor effort.

Was there a handshake involved, coz he deserves to die if he's welched on a handshake.

No hand shake , but a deal was definetley done with a firm price , pick up day/time and address .

The guy doesnt deserve anything bad to happen to him however he should have a good think about his ethics/practices.

Yeah, maybe nothing bad is warranted.
Don't mind me; I'd just watched 'Rob Roy' and got all excited about honour...
It makes for an awkward moment and a bad taste when this sort of welching happens.
A reminder to have a real good think about price before committing.
