Read that one a bit more...
"classic mx & dirt track is 95db(A) from 30 metres (side of track) ride by test."
most bikes should pass that test

how would you get a test done prior to the day ?
l have no idea the difference between a 94 decibel pass and a 96 decibel fail.

Alot of exhaust shops should have a SLM so they should be able to give you a pass---or fail :D
Due to the Hooning Laws they should have in any case.

Hi Folks,

QVMX ran noise tests at the QMP interclub, the only ones even coming close were the 125's, and that was around 20m from track, as 30m is a fair way and sometimes hard to get to at he prescribed "high speed" section of track.

I'd say some of the MX400B style silences would be a bit of a worry too, hence why I will be prob using a universal FMF turbine core for mine.

Better to try it out and get people ready than to have it come in as a rule and then try to start enforcing it.

Cheers
