Any good mechanic should be able to do the job,The Kehin FCR carb as fitted to that model has a 2 part slide that can sometimes break from backfiring, that usually results in a high idle, not full on though, could also be anywhere from throttle assembly to cables ;)

Yes I was going to suggest checking the cables too, if they are starting to fray then they will bind inside the outer cable casing.
If you’re up for pulling the slide out of the carby then check that the cable moves freely then check the slide moves freely.

Thanks,

The problem happened two years ago , after that I replaced the cables cleaned and checked all the carby checked if the cables did not bind after the tank went back on.

This problem happened again which caused a big off and a broken arm, after the bike was picked up it ran fine and was rode back 30 km with out a problem?? When it happened  two years ago it ran fine after that too.

I could not sell the bike with this problem so I will get a shop to double check in case I am missing some thing.

Thanks fo the feed back
Chris.

Almost sounds like water on the slide if it happens occasionally & is fine afterwards, was water involved before the throttle stuck like a deep water crossing?
