Title: 72/74cz back from the dead
Post by: MauriceR on May 19, 2013, 09:49:52 am
Bought a 73 380 last summer and it came with a roller frame so I figured i should bring it back to life.
This is where it started

Well its almost done still need to put the pipe on and a few nuts and bolts and then fire it up.
The motor is a 72 380 completely rebuilt, 74 frame, modified Maico brake pedal, KTM chain guide, Dalco precision triple clamps and lot's of hours
Hope you like

Yet another nice bike Maurice. It's a good feeling resurrecting something others might see as too far gone. Are you going with a side pipe to suit the overall look of the bike or a down pipe in keeping with the frame?

Beautiful. Just love the basic simplicity of the old designs. My idea of what a dirt bike should be. Thanks for posting.  :)

Maurice,

You have done a wonderful job on this CZ.  Looks like we were doing both these CZ's up from scratch around the same time but with slightly different artistic visions in mind.  My young bloke was desperate to have black rims like yours. But as the financial director I won out.

Home you get some fun times riding and showing this beauty.
