Title: Fork hardchroming - Diamond Hard Chrome Sydney NO JOY
Post by: Husabergpete on May 17, 2013, 11:14:37 am
Gents,

Shortly after I put this original post up for these guys I received my CZ forks back from them. Paid the agreed $350. The CZ forks are a bit different in that they are turned down to a sightly smaller diameter where they fit into the triple clamp. That full are was not touched in the re-chroming process that I asked for.  Still pitted with rust.

I spoke to Adam who said it wasn't usual for them to re chrome the section that the triple clamps work on. But never the less send them back and they would dress them up an put a bit of chrome over them for looks.

Week later I got a message to say they were done and I needed to pay an additional $100. When asked Adam said the boss had requested the additional payment as it was Re Work. Explaining that it should have been done in the first place didn't help.

I was told that if I didn't want to pay the money they would remove the chrome and give them back rusty.

That's business I spose. But I wont be going back.

Pete
