I'm rebuilding a 250X out of two wrecks and need some questions answered:
the rear of the engine is seated on the swing arm, Is there supposed to be some form of spacer(s) as I have gaps between the swing arm and the motor?
The centre bolt that mounts onto the frame, does anyone have one of the spacers, I need two and Only have the one?
Any ideas how to get a seized head stem bearing off, Just heat or any other method. Both bikes the head stem bearing is seized?
Other than that, motors built, new bearings and seals etc, New fork seals, swing arm bearings. Had the rear suspension rebuilt.
Just going through put together faze which is now causing the frustration as usual.

Can you buy a complete bearing kit replacement to refurbish the cushion lever?

does this pic help with the swing arm spacers, For some reason the pic doesn't show up just click on rear swinging arm then click on it again from the list. ???
Cheers

I've had all the bearings replaced in the swing arm, but there is still space between the swing arm and the engine, can't see any external spacers shown on the schematics. Though I might be blind!!!

You should have some inner steel dust seals that go between the swingarm and engine casings.
They aren't that thick though.
I think the cushion lever bearings are all just SUZUKI only >:(

yep in the kit the dust covers were the wrong size, fitted the old one and swing arm all good
and we have spark!!!! yay
