I recently picked up a 250D to stir up the Yamaha's :D, it wasn't too dear so I didn't do a whole lot of scruitenising before going ahead with the deal. Got the bike in the shed and fire her up, fired up in two kicks perfectly. BUT SHE VIBRATES LIKE A STRIPPERS HAND BAG!!, it also seems to be starving fuel or possibly pulling a little air in going by the character of its idle (lack of more so) and the way it responds to blips of throttle. SO, is there anything in particular to look for on this model or commonly worn/badly repaired areas that could such a palm tingling vibration?? Any help most appreciated, cheers.

Loose engine mounts

Yeah, just check all the usual area's.
Test's from back in the day all complained about engine vibration. '' The motor vibrates like a MAYTAG'' was the usual line.
Also they used to recommend drilling out the mounts and putting larger ''US'' size bolts ???

Check the intake manifold for small cracks . my one of these had 2 over the time i had it .and as the other guys said , fit bigger bolts to the engine mounts. they do seem to vibrate worse than a honda or yammy.
