What gear lever fits that is a bit longer,Off another model Honda or aftermarket ,what are others using? :)

Hi Smed, the 81 CR450 shifter does the job.

It looks similar to mine. Mine sticks out a bit more than the stock one which I originally thought would be a problem but it actually felt better and I am not missing as many shifts. I will take a photo of how it looks on the bike and post it here for you. Hopefully later today if I remember when I am at the workshop.

Thanks for the info popeye,where did you buy it from?,the hammerhead site only lists one for the 1200,perhaps they are NLA :'(

Mate it was on it when l bought the bike, l will check tonight just to make shaw it is an F800 and not a 1200 , but it works great and nice and solid.

Thanks Ken & popeye,I still don't know which way to go yet,The IMS job is quite a bit cheaper & the hammerhead is going to be strong as an ox & bling city by all accounts :)
