Title: My KX250A5
Post by: John Orchard on May 07, 2013, 08:22:29 pm
The first outing for my first KX250A5 (2 more to complete), rode my first dirt-track in 35 years; that 6 ply Cheng-Shin rear was NOT good  ;-)

I'll add more pics as I do more to it, this one will stay Evo, the next one has got a '84 KX125 disc front end being fitted for Pre 85.  The third one is halfway through getting a KDX400 engine fitted ..... stay tuned

Nice work there John, that is a good looking bike.  Any "before" shots?

Thanks Guy's, it didn't look a ton different when I got it, but I had to strip everything, cracked rims, teeth missing in gearbox, cylinder resleeve, new rear shocks, reed valve petals, missing engine mount bolts, crank seals, clutch plates, clutch cover casing, all moving parts in the carb and airfilter element!!!  The list goes on ....
