Title: YZ 125 A ignition timing

Hello out there..any one know what the ignition timing is supposed to be for a 1974 YZ 125 A..??

Most yz125s of that era seem to be 1.2 btdc, but i don't have the specifics for that particular model sorry.

doesnt it use a key way so its set at factory ?
unless you are fitting the PVL

You picked it in one Freaky... PVL is going on... and as you kno w a PVL rotor does not have a key.... so...anyone have an idea????... or will I just start at 2.00mm BTDC and go from there...

Mainline hit it in one.
1.2mm btdc
I use this on all my Yammie 125's with varying ignition systems, all cdi and
It works a treat.
MX 100/125's are points... ewe...

This is std timing on the 1974 model later went to 1.2mm
