Title: How to make up air valve lines?
Post by: John Orchard on April 08, 2013, 10:56:24 am
Hey Guy's,

Just wondering if anyone has idea's on how to make up some air lines that will connect to the airvalves on my forks?

Firstly I want to join the valves together in a T piece and then maybe add a sub-tank to hold extra volume so the pressure rise is not so great as the forks compress.

Just wondering if fittings are made that connect and where I might get them from?

Try Pirtec or one of the other pneumantic and hydraulic line companies.

Not sure what kind of pressure your talking, but the first thing that comes to mind are some hoses from a kmart bicycle pump that would screw directly to your fork valves, then get a short piece of high pressure pvc pipe and a couple of end caps that's tough enough to tap a thread into. The other end of the pump hose would screw into either end of the canister. It's probably not a long term fix, but cheap to play around with until you get the set up you like.
