I have an XS650 motor sitting in the shed. Been looking at the Wasp/Rickman copy frames and would love to build up a bike using one of these frames.I'd probably road register it but it would be great if I could slip in a race meet now and then.
Am I right in thinking I could race this in the pre 70 class??

You can race a road framed XS650 in pre68 sidecars I'm told but not in a Wasp frame or similar. We could probably make up a Wasp solo(featherbed copy) if some one is keen enough. We make Wasp copy sidecars to bolt onto road/trail frames from time to time. Mostly onto XTs and DRs.

Would/do make a great dirt tracker. And look smart on the road in dirt track guise.

Thanks everyone. Good news about the later motors......the one I have is a 78.
Should be fun in a straight line......not so sure about the corners... ;D
