Title: What cha ridin at the Lakes
Post by: FireKwaka on April 02, 2013, 09:08:28 pm
Reality has stuck and I won't be riding the pre 85 big bore class as I ain't gonna have this ready in time.

But I will be riding this in the pre 85 250.

Filled out my entry and thinking about all this preparation and travel to ride 3 races (but nice long races) and was thinking how much I would like to race an EVO age race (40-49yrs).
I know its a big ask when I am basically unknown to most but no harm in asking. Anyone got an EVO they want raced?

That green thing only looks like a couple of nights in the shed away from racing!!! ;D

I too know what it's like, I end up taking a couple of days off work in a last ditch effort to get bikes / gear / stuff ready for big events.

2mt

Popeye, your offer is very tempting. I used to build and race BMX side hacks when I was a teenager and have also raced a bit of Dirt track sidecar. If you want someone to putt around to make up some numbers I'm your man, ride or swing?

If the planets align:
YZ250G (Evo 250);
CR250RE (pre-85 250);
KX125F (pre-90 125).

If the planets don't align:
Marty's KDX250 is pre-85 250... :D
Although the KX and YZ really ought to make it.
