Would anyone have the April 84 US Dirt Bike mag? Apparently it has an article called Husky Secrets that was referred to in the June 84 Dirt Bike test on the awesome WR 400 and I would like to get a copy of the article if anyone would be so kind. Scan and post on the forum, scan and email or photocopy and snail mail. It will all work fine for me. Thanks :D :D

Mark you are a gentleman and a scholar! Thank you for posting the article. It has saved me bidding on a copy of the mag that I discovered on US eBay last night ;D To my amusement I have suffered from several of the problems that Mike Meltons tips are designed to avoid e.g losing the top shock mount bolt ::) Pretty much good maintenance tips ....except for the wacky idea to mount one set of pegs on top of the other :o

Havent had the radiator guards rub a hole in your radiator yet? ??? :o I fell for that one at Harrow last year and had to resort to the old pepper trick

Which type of guards John. The OEM plastic louvres or the aluminum aftermarket screens? Where is the contact point that causes a leak?
-
The plastics, one had been tweaked and rubbed the bottom tubes eventually wearing thru. Pepper fixed it followed by Bendigo Radiators for a very modest fee. if you need bike rads worked on, they know their stuff.
A couple of blobs of silicon has fixed the Louvre position as well. all good now. just the shox issue to be sorted.
