Hey, Adam, what's the story with those red anodised head bolts? I found some amongst some 'rubbish' in a recent purchase and thought 'why would someone custom anodise a part you don't get to see?'.
-
Light i guess, i got blue ones in a DT1. You wanta sell em or trade em MX ? freaky is on the hunt again :OP
-
Light i guess,
What 'light' as in lightweight? The MX has alloy barrel bolts but non-anondised. Why anondised? (Why red ????).
You wanta sell em or trade em MX ?
Darh ;D. I'll find a use for them, maybe shave a gram or two off the Hallman replica ;D.
-
yes but these are the fast red ones. I got a few air caps in that same electric blue and pink red, seems back then it was a novelty or something ...... bling bling :O)
-
All the yzA's and B's should have them and I know you could buy aftermarket ones.
They arn't all that crash hot because it's quite easy to strip the heads on the hex very soft.
I'm in the process of making a few Titanium ones before my work shuts shop and go over to the states to have everything Manufactured.
The us dollar is real good at the moment for us so it's cheaper to buy every thing allready made from there.
There is a little difference in length between the yz360 and 250 but they will suit both etc.
They would be perfect for a Hallman replica for sure and I reckon thats were the idea came from.
All you need now is a yz clutch cover, magi cover and the clutch sproket cover and a yz250a pipe.
-
I really a YZ clutch side cover and about 5000 bits copied in titanium as an 'on the cheap' foriegn order. Would know anyone who could help me out hey Adam ;D.
-
Sorry I have alot of foriegn orders to be finshed by the 12th september then I'm off to live in Forster.
I may have to find some "scrap" titanium laying around to finsh a few items off.
