Like sharks sniffing blood in the water, whenever some bike "similar" to theirs is going for big money they think theirs will too.  Two tank stickers, a seat cover and a pair of Fox Air Shox and voila you have a Moto-X Fox Factory Race Bike.

To quote him, "There aren't many of these out there!"  Based on the number of seat covers, tank stickers and Fox Airs for sale on eBay each week there are potentially hundreds of them.

They must have been out of the alloy chain guides when they built this bike ;),the black crankcases are different,some factory bikes had all black motors :)

You pay a lot for a swing arm and Fox forks and a tidy up!!!!!!!!

This one has Simons forks, but no triples and could use a Thor arm to be an early Fox replica.  At least he doesn't claim there aren't many of them around (this week).

Shit you are not wrong, there is nice CR250RZ sitting about for 5 K Kiwi for ages now, I would start with that and add the good shit. 17" shox are everywhere, forks would be $2000 and you could probably find a swinger if you look hard enough.

17K is real deal 360 territory.

theres a set on Trademe for 3K NZD at the moment, they seem to have gone up 50% in the last couple of years
