Couple of questions :)
What size are the forks fitted to RM 125A ? i always thought 36mm but just measured the ones in my A and they are 35mm ???
125 S are 35mm and 125 B are 36mm
So are 35mm correct for the A ?
Steering stem in RM 125B what way does it push out of the bottom clamp ??? does it have a retianing circlip or any other method of retaining it >
Thanks Bill

Do you know how those RM B/C steering stems come out ?

The RM125B steering stem pushes out the bottom of the lower triple after removing the pinch bolt which has a slot in the stem itself to retain it. The stem on mine pushed out easily once the lower pinch bolt was completely removed.
This is assuming that after all these years your triples and stem re original and the same for mine ;)

Monty/Bill, pretty sure the 125B/C steering stems don't have a pinch bolt..the A does and pushes out as you say but B/C stem removal from memory is somewhat of a problem :-\

No bolt ... press fit.

Thanks guys , yep theres no pinch bolt and actually i think the clamps are PE 175C clamps . So does the stem just push out the bottom or is there more to it ???

RM125A & B do have a pinch bolt for the stem in the lower triple (different triples and forks - A(35mm) compared to B(36mm)) but the 'C' does not have a pinch bolt for the stem. Parts book link below
