Title: Restored TT500c getting up there
Post by: crash n bern on March 06, 2013, 09:59:45 am
For all you TT500 tragics who were worried that the market was flooded with imports and the value was sinking.

If they are dead stock, org to every nut and bolt etc , then some are all over it seems.
or his mates are bumping the bids up ??? ::) or the market is coming back up but I wouldnt think so at the moment.

a good straight pipe for TT500C can go $1000 on its own.

For a TT500 tragic this is probably the most desirable bike of them all, the first timer goes for yellow or orange one.... hence their high prices especially with genuine pipe and road kit..... but TT500C and TT500H are the bikes of those with a true fetish as the first and last  ;)

I know Marc. I've got 3 C's.  A couple of years back every TT advertised sold (Unless it had a stupid starting price)  But I've seen a few passing in with low start prices lately.

Sold for $7,400 they used to pull around $8,000+ a couple of years back.   Still, not bad for the current market.

Doesn't surprise me C and H will get pretty good money especially if they have the correct numbers. I notice good money for XT500s as well these days, lotta poms like them for some reason, bit like LC350s.
