I have the above for sale, no pics at the moment, & will be putting it on Evilbay as this is for a mate & he needs the money to finish the resto I'm doing for him.
Would love to keep it but as you won't see it seems a shame to waste it on a bike that will never be riden.
So just giving you the heads up.
It has 2K7-16150-00-00 on the box which is YZ250E but they, & the 400, have a helical cut drive gear (Angled) & this is straight cut. Also it has 509 embossed inside.
So I'm thinking it's 1976/77 MX, YZ & IT. There would be nothing to stop you using a staight cut gear in an E though. I am always mixing & matching clutches to get the best result.
Be aware though the kickstart cog & brass feral are not there. This is not a big issue, anyone with a $75 SCA press can press your old one out & into the new. I have had this done on a few occassions. I would do it for you if I owned a press. (Soon)
