Snake pipes are period mx pipes for bikes that normally have underslung pipes, they wrap around the front downtubes & sometimes over the top of the engine exiting near the riders foot or down by the front of the engine

Where they any good? thanks Tony, Nifty picked up a 73 CR250 a while ago from the same fella I got my TM125 off and it had a funny similar looking pipe.

No idea if they work or not although if I had a 74 cylinder for my CZ I'd be able to try 1 out that I've been offered a try of. From what I've read they were ear bleedingly loud

No not loud, no louder than a honda elsinore 125., my snake pipe came off my Tyran.
