Title: Griffith Motorcycle Sports Club Golden Wheels 2nd March

GMSC Inc will be hosting the first round of the Golden Wheels Interclub Challenge at the Pines Speedway next Sat 2nd March we will be running a nite meeting commencing at 3.00pm classes will include Pre 80 250cc & under & Pre 80 263cc & above along with all moderns . You can join the club on the day & one day licences available.

 I suspect my days of travelling far from Nepean are probably in the past, but I must say that my experience at Griffith state titles a couple of years ago was great, with good track and amenities and friendly two days with smiles all round.

grasy did the meet go ahead? or did you get rained off like everyone else.

It went ahead Micks, from what I'm hearing, Grasy beat PLee, Pete fell off ;D ;).
Punchy, it was the OZ Classic titles you rode at in Griffith.

So Slides in the absence of a report from Grasy (probably busy packing his bags) or any one else that was their can you fill us in with any more info/results from the Griffith Meeting. Do you have any info on Peter's get off and how he is.

The meeting went ahead & was a beauty,118 races with 109 competitors started at 5.00 pm had 45 minute break to allow sun to set  & dress track . With presentation  at 10.30 pm.
There was some great racing from Juniors,Modern seniors,Side cars & both Classic classes,
We had members of Penrith & Canberra travel down for the meeting along with West Wyalong,Temora,Leeton,Wagga Wagga & the locals.
Ol Pete is fine just a bit of skin off as per usual he was at the pointy end in both classic classes.
We may host a Griffith Cup later in the year Sat night after Temora Classic Titles for Moderns & Classics. Will keep you posted.
