Title: kdx200 cdi unit

After a CDI for a '83 kdx200. Dunno if kdx250, kx250 will do as well (???). A few currently on US ebay are a bit expensive but thought I would ask here first..thanks all...    :)

Ummm dunno...I aint got one!!!    ;)

Bike is yet to arrive so dunno yet. I think CDI is dead by sounds of things....if not then I will have a spare in case!!   ::)

Have tried a few wreckers...cheapest price is $70. Found a few similar on ebay in USA but no direct kdx200 air cooled ones.

i would wait , could be stator coils , also i have heard the very early kdx,s had some drama with fly wheel magnets ,i,ve got a cd unit  from kx 125 don,t know if it works,and a new unused one for  a5 kx 250 or  420  ,

Yeh I hear ya. Bike supposedly has charge coming from pick up so suspect is coil or CDI. Then again who knows what other people diagnose!!!!!    ::)
I picked up a non-runner once which the owner said was running fine until it just died. After a lot of checking it turned out it had just run out of fuel!!!!      :)
