About 10 years ago, I bought a magazine with an advert on the back page that had a shot of an XL250 Motosport at Baja with 3 big lights bolted to the front.
Well now, I can't find that magazine or even the photo online.
Would anyone have any idea what I'm on about or even have a copy of that advert?

Try looking under Dirt Bike mags, I seem to remember it in there some time back.

That very edition of T&T is in the box of mags I picked up along with Eds 1 & 2....how could I not have remebered that!!

19 or 21 as unless you are reducing the rear too, then an 18 distant last. 19 & 21 have worlds more tyre choices too.

I'm building a DT1 Baja style desert bike Tony and I'm using a 19" wheel/400 trials tyre combo like on that XL Honda in the ad.

I will send ya a mag with that add as soon as pick one out of the boxes Tony. Hope the master blindness has passed by then ...... ;)
ps. try to get a smick one for you, so you can do a poster enlargement.

No probs, fellas.
The biggest I can print myself is A3+ (13"x19") which cost me about 10 bucks.
If you want bigger, I can get my lab to do it, but I'll bet a price first.

Not 21 inch. No choices for bigger width. Wasn't the theory back in the day to have big balloon front tyres for the sand - rolls on top rather than knife in? Could be a 19 inch but comparing to the back . . . could be 18??

I talked to Frank Bayliss (of Mildura bike shop in the day) recently, and he said that
from the beginning, he was running a speedway rear wheel on the front of his
Yamahas for BP Rallies.
