Title: MMCC Come & Try @ Action Park Raceway

MMCC will be conducting a Come & Try @ Action Park Raceway this Sunday the 24th of February.

These days are set up for newbies to racing and provide a really good vibe for those first timers to get on the track.

Normal practice will be conducted after lunch for current members etc.

If you have been thinking about giving dirt track a go whether it be vintage or modern, come along and pitch it in @ Action park Raceway!

It would be better if that fantastic looking track was down here in the beautiful Yarra Valley (VIC)

cant make it this weekend
have not ridden action park for at least 15 years
very nice track   any major changes?

Loose oiled surface these days (Having said that the rain has probably washed it all away).
Relaxed yet competitive atmosphere.
Good old bike/old rider support. The two most supported classes for 2012 were the over 40's and the post classic classes.

That's about it.

There is supposed to be a 3 race series between MMCC, SCMCC & NBJMC this year but haven't heard much more than that at this stage. pretty keen to see that happen over the 3 different surfaces but we will have to wait and see.

The Come and Try went well but the weather did end the day early. We got a few more than expected so that's good. Track was awesome! Here are a few pics I took whilst getting the boy sorted.

Wow, the track looks awesome! So do the bikes.

I'm booked to fly up there for Mother's Day so if the practice day is still on the 12th, I will try to get out for a look, or even a ride. Just gotta line something up but you never know.
