Jeff just lost his house and needs the money. A good investment.

His mx team folded just before the start of the season, wonder if that's why he lost his house?
Shame he's having to sell his championship bikes..

Looking at what Ward is asking for his actual "Works" bikes, that guy from Kentucky with the RH250 (LOL) should go to his out-house and slit his throat.

Sad to hear he is selling them, but some collectors are gonna get some really nice bikes!  ;)

That's sad that Wardy's had to sell his bikes, especially if it's to to cover debt. It just goes to show that the economic crisis can hit all of us, no matter how successful we seem to outsiders. If I had a spare buck I'd be onto those bikes in a heartbeat.

Dont know about this one, but his '85 is cheap if it sells anywhere near 30 grand aud. I'd reckon he will have a list of buyers already, he'd just being trying to get better dollars via ebay or at least maybe push the price up.

Hope he gets a 100g for it, that way i wont feel like i "could" have had it!

Next to Jobe he is my favourite Kx rider of all time, its really sad if he HAS to sell them, he must have made millions just from his contracts over the years, its a real shame.

Wow. It's easy to say this, but ~$22k for the '88 250 actually seems quite cheap.

I remember him saying once ( mid 90's )that he still had not ridden a 125 that was faster than the 84 bike.

I can remember Wardy cursing his 125 at the 1988 MX DES NATIONS cause it didnt have enough power
and couldnt keep up with Jean Micheal Bayles factory HRC honda CR125.
If i had the money id buy that little 125 in an instant.

Yep the 125 1984 is so nice and full factory too incl ally tank
The 1988 250 with the number 1 plate i guess from being first the previous year is a ripper.
