Title: Old guys know their stuff

I have been getting quotes to chrome a tank for an old bike, I have had 3 quotes of over $900 including one guy who wanted the bottom cut out of the tank to do it, All of these guys are hot rod or custom chrome guys. Then I went to a guy who has been around for years and years probably longer than all the others combined.He went yea no problem those tanks dont need to be fully polished on the side as you paint the side in for original effect ( which is correct , this is without seeing the tank) Quote $350

Good idea but I suspect it won't help us here in Australia.
