Title: QVMX Sign On/Practice Come and Try – NEW DATE Biddadaba 23rd and 24th March
Post by: Robo 47 on February 13, 2013, 09:47:05 pm: QVMX Sign On/Practice Come and Try – Biddadaba NEW DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!23rd and 24th MARCH 2013

We have done a lot of work on the track at Biddadaba over summer. Come along and check it out!
We have built a tabletop and small jumps on the track. Will be great weekend to kick off the year.

Saturday and Sunday sign on from 0700

- Vinduro (seniors - vintage bikes only)
- VMX practice seniors
- Ladies – modern or vintage
- Juniors – modern
and pee wee track

General meeting at lunch.

$30 Ride Fees for 1 day or $50 for 2 days. $10 per day for Juniors.

It is a "Come And Try" weekend, an event sponsored by MQ to encourage more people to participate in our sport.

IF YOU HAVE NEVER HELD A MQ/MA LICENCE IN THE PAST, then you are eligible for the following offers: .
Incentive #1:
FREE annual Mini or Recreational Licence for all Come & Try participants.
Incentive #2:
Subsidised Senior National Licence (for $120) for all Senior Come & Try participants.
Incentive #3:
Subsidised Junior National Licence (for $120) for all Junior Come & Try participants.

**If you have held a licence in the past, but dont have one now, you will need a day licence - cost $20**

Camping available Friday and Saturday night.
Food van Saturday and Sunday.

Please print out your membership form available on www.qvmx.com.au and fill out and bring on the day.

Access wont be a problem as we have a new entry at the top of the hill which will handle wet weather.

Unless the roads are flooded, it will be on.

Post by: Robo 47 on March 19, 2013, 11:59:25 pm: Vinduro update - Shane and Chris have set up the vinduro - extending the existing trails and adding in some fantastic loops that give everyone some variety. Has some great open sections, some twisty sections that bounce off existing cambered berms, some tight wooded tree sections that get you leaning the bike between saplings, the obligatory hillclimbs and flat out blats across the paddocks. Some may say it is the best Vinduro course so far.

Whilst challenging, motocrossers can tackle the course as the hillclimbs have a good run up and existed in previous tracks. :D

So all set to go this weekend - bring it on! ;D

Made all the better by the excellent company .... Thanks to all the hard working organisers and helpers and thanks to all that came along.

VMX has some great people in it up this way. ;D

Post by: Davey Crocket on March 25, 2013, 08:18:47 am: Great weekend, would have to be one of the biggest turnouts ever.....you wouldnt think that after all the rain we have had in the last 3 months that we had dust.....and then as I left the track we had a huge storm.....what the!!!....at least I feel normal now after finally getting a ride.....aching from head to toe.....but grinning from ear to ear.....I even enjoyed my $200 82 XL250R special that I rode around the vinduro loop.....that one might be a "keeper"......and I dont like Honda's......Cant wait till the next one.....thanks to all the workers and helpers for making a great weekend. It was great to see a lot of mates swaping bikes aswell to sample the "other"

Thanks for the vote of confidence Joan ;D what date is the classic this year ? on a side note i have a spare A5 cyl (sleeved ) and a head (welded needs machining ) but it will cost them a flight and an entry to the Classic ;)
